Hi-Tec partnered up with young entrepreneurs to carry on the brand’s legacy and “relaunch” the brand by creating HTS74.

The HTS74 collection is a two-dimensional collection where the label’s 43 years of performance technology combined with their quin-tessential 80’s and 90’s upper patterns. Not another Retrobrand, but functional and modern trainers inspired by Hi-Tec gear from the 80’s and 90’s. All outsoles used in the HTS74 collection have a functional background. The balance between functional sports and modern fashion is where the HTS74 collection is positioned.

THE ABC CONCEPT

ABS CONCEPT MARKET IN RED THE AIRBALL CONCEPT. THIS TECHNOLOGY IS AVAILABLE IN THE BADWATER SERIES OF HTS.

Hi-Tec’s breakthrough ABC – Air Ball Concept – sole brought a patented pressurised cylinder seated in the heel of the shoe, delivering the best form of air support available and putting Hi-Tec far ahead of its time in 1989. The concertina design of the cylinder allows maximum compression on impact; this provides not only outstanding shock absorption, but also positions the heel to ensure optimum motion control and energy return. The Air Ball Concept is a proven technology in many sports like squash, tennis basketball and running.
